Portfolio Value Update - March 4, 2014

Today my Dividend Portfolio decreased by $89.71 to $14,592.79.

Global markets rebounded today as investor worries over Ukraine crisis fade. It will be a choppy market because the crisis in Ukraine is not over and it will take a long time for the situation to stabilize. The media is criticizing Russia for Ukraine invasion, but in reality, the Russians only protecting the Russian speaking population of the Western Ukraine and Crimea.

Alaris Royalty

The best performer of the day was AD.TO, up by 1.64% or 49 cents to $30.37. I purchased this stock today and it's already on my "best performer of the day list". I've held this name in the past when it was around $20 per share.

Lightstream Resources

The worst performer of the day was LTS.TO, down by 5.60% or 35 cents to $5.90. The stock fell after earnings report. After reading their financial statements, I'm still unclear why the stock fell so much. The report was OK, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. They did have a 9% production growth and year-over-year basis. Another reason for the fall could be the price of oil which fell by $2 per barrel.
