Today my Dividend Portfolio increased by $124.60 to $17,623.75.

My portfolio has recovered nicely today. Last week it lost around $400 in value. 1/3 of it is already recovered.

EnerCare
The best performer of the day was ECI.TO, up by 2.35% or 28 cents to $12.19. Enercare is breaking up once more. The share price closed at record high.

Lightstream Resources

The worst performer of the day was LTS.TO, down by 0.49% or 4 cents to $8.16. 

Portfolio Value Update - June 27, 2014

Today my Dividend Portfolio decreased by $63.75 to $17,499.15.

New Flyer Industries
The best performer of the day was NFI.TO, up by 1.39% or 17 cents to $12.36. The bus maker is approaching the 52 week high of $12.48. The stock is bulling and the trend is up.

Liquor Stores

The worst performer of the day was LIQ.TO, down by 1.78% or 20 cents to $11.06. The stock pulled back a little bit and closed at par with the 50 day moving average. The trend is till down, so the downside risk is still high. It will have to double bottom at some point and then brake to the upside.

Today my Dividend Portfolio decreased by $72.61 to $17,562.90.

Enercare
The best performer of the day was ECI.TO, up by 1.43% or 17 cents to $12.05. It's just a few cents away from the all time high. Really great performance. The stock is up about 30% from 5 months ago.

Lightstream Resources

The worst performer of the day was LTS.TO, down by 2.11% or 18 cents to $8.34. The stock already pulled back 7% from recent highs. The 50 day moving average is at $7.56 so there's still some downside risk going forward. 

Portfolio Value Update - June 25, 2014

Today my Dividend Portfolio increased by $1.30 to $17,665.85.

Some stocks rebounded following a two day plunge. WoW! What a competition! I became a dollar richer.

Varesen
The best performer of the day was VSN.TO, up by 2.21% or 40 cents to $18.53. Veresen actually outperformed other energy stocks as well. While most of the energy stocks pulled back by around 5%, VSN kept on going higher and now it's trading at all time high again. Fundamentally, they have a huge catalyst going forward. I think this stock will be over $20 soon.

Medical Facilities

The worst performer of the day was DR.TO, down by 2.29% or 42 cents to $17.90. I might actually have an opportunity to buy another position in this stock, ideally at around $17.

Portfolio Value Update - June 24, 2014

Today my Dividend Portfolio decreased by $118.75 to $17,664.55.

My portfolio suffered a triple digit loss for a second day in a row. The Toronto stock market closed lower as well.

Alaris Royalty
The best performer of the day was AD.TO, up by 3.64% or $1.03 to $29.36. Despite the pullback on the market today, this stock demonstrated an outstanding performance. The next technical resistance level is around 31.50 so it has another dollar of upside potential. 

Crescent Point

The worst performer of the day was CPG.TO, down by 2.31% or $1.09 to $46.09. 

Portfolio Value Update - June 23, 2014

Today my Dividend Portfolio decreased by $169.10 to $17,783.30.

Most of the Friday's gain was lost, primarily due to two heavy weighted stocks that were pulled back today. Only 4 stocks out of 19 closed higher. The energy sector got hit the hardest. I made a few transactions today as well. I sold PPL.TO and reduced my position in CPG.TO to increase position in WJX.TO and to open a new position in CUF.UN.TO (REIT)

The best performer of the day was VSN.TO, up by 1.16% or 21 cents to $18.26.

The worst performer of the day was LTS.TO, down by 2.77% or 25 cents to $8.78. 

Portfolio Value Update - June 20, 2014

Today my Dividend Portfolio increased by $185.68 to $17,920.92.

What a pleasant surprise! I did not expect a triple digit gain today. When I checked the market at mid day I was sure that I would be in negative territory.

Lightstream Resources

The best performer of the day was LTS.TO, up by 5.74% or 49 cents to $9.03. It's hard to predict what will happen next, but at those levels the stock looks expensive. Since March 2014 the stock is up almost a 100%! A healthy correction is expected in the near term.

Veresen

The worst performer of the day was VSN.TO, down by 2.59% or 48 cents to $18.05. 

Portfolio Value Update - June 19, 2014

Today my Dividend Portfolio increased by $64.68 to $17,735.24.

70% of my stocks closed in positive territory and helped to push my portfolio higher.

Medical Facilities
The best performer of the day was DR.TO, up by 1.46% or 27 cents to $18.77. I think I missed my boat here. The stock is now poised to go higher as it did withstand the support level. You can see how the stock corrected from around $20 to $17 support level. This was my prediction as well. I also predicted that once it touches the support line of 200dma that it would bounce back and continue to move higher. And this is exactly what it did, the price went down to 200dma and then it had an ABC upward movement, reversing the downtrend.

Pizza Pizza Royalty

The worst performer of the day was PZA.TO, down by 1.09% or 15 cents to $13.60. Pizza pizza is a decent place and when I pass by their restaurant, there are always people in there. I'm not concerned by the stock performance. I'm not expecting a big capital appreciation. Seven percent dividend yield is good enough for me. 

Portfolio Value Update - June 18, 2014

Today my Dividend Portfolio decreased by $23.56 to $17,670.56.

Ten companies out of 19 closed higher, but my net change is negative due to some of the resource stocks that weigh my portfolio down.

Liquor Stores
The best performer of the day was LIQ.TO, up by 3.14% or 34 cents to $11.18. Finally, after 5 and a half months of pressure, the stock is rallying for the first time. It closed at resistance point and it will be interesting to see what happens next. Maybe alcohol sales increased amid the FIFA World Cup...we'll find out.

Today my Dividend Portfolio increased by $67.53 to $17,694.12.

Alaris Royalty

The best performer of the day was AD.TO, up by 1.67% or 46 cents to $27.93. Finally, the price crossed and closed above the 50dma. The trend is still down, so it will take a while until the trend changes its course.

Baytex Energy

The worst performer of the day was BTE.TO, down by 0.69% or 34 cents to $48.92. Time for a little correction for energy stocks. Due to high oil prices, most of the oil companies are now overvalued. But there's still a nice dividend yield.

Veresen
The best performer of the day was VSN.TO, up by 2.64% or 47 cents to $18.30. Today's move by VSN indicates that it still have the steam to go higher. Even at those high prices, the stock still has a reasonable dividend yield.

Lightstream Resources

The worst performer of the day was LTS.TO, down by 2.38% or 21 cents to $8.63. We might see a 10% correction, but other than that, the stock performance is very good. 

Portfolio Value Update - June 13, 2014

Today my Dividend Portfolio increased by $153.79 to $17,599.92.

Another great day for the Friday 13th. All of my resource stocks closed higher due to the record high oil prices.

Crescent Point
The best performer of the day was CPG.TO, up by 3.07% or $1.40 to $46.96. CPG has done a very good job and continues to pay out a high yield. A very steady cash flow generator!

Liquor Stores

The worst performer of the day was LIQ.TO, down by 1.01% or 11 cents to $10.75. There are rumours that the dividend could be cut because of the problems it was having with its competition. I have a small position in this company.

Today my Dividend Portfolio increased by $279.00 to $17,446.13.

What a great day on the market today. So far, this is the biggest one day gain I ever had.

The best performer of the day was LTS.TO, up by 6.67% or 54 cents to $8.64. There will be better days for this company. I already wrote before that this is a turning year. They are improving their balance sheet by paying off lots of debt.

Leisureworld Senior Care

The worst performer of the day was LW.TO, down by 1.49% or 19 cents to $12.55.

Today my Dividend Portfolio decreased by $33.31 to $17,169.33.

First Capital Realty
The best performer of the day was FCR.TO, up by 1.22% or 23 cents to $19.02. Very good performance by FCR. Just a few months ago, this stock was trading at around $17. I will be looking at $23 for an exit point

Medical Facilities

The worst performer of the day was DR.TO, down by 1.51% or 27 cents to $17.63. One day I will take advantage of this low price. Maybe once I sell FCR, I will use the proceed to buy more of DR.

My stocks were mixed, half up - half down, but the end result is positive. I believe today is the 10th consecutive trading day that my portfolio is up.

Liquor Stores
The best performer of the day was LIQ.TO, up by 1.40% or 15 cents to $10.87. This stock is trying to recover from a $10 dip it had a month ago. Since then, it's slowly climbing higher.

Alaris Royalty

The worst performer of the day was AD.TO, down by 1.33% or 37 cents to $27.54.

The worst performer of the day was DR.TO, down by 1.07% or 19 cents to $17.62. At those levels, the stock is more affordable comparing to $20 when it was trading a few months ago.

I reached a new milestone of $17,000 and my portfolio is up for 7 consecutive days! Two important events happened today. Enercare (ECI.TO) finally broke up to the upside, above $11.40 level and Alaris Royalty (AD.TO) announced a dividend increase of 4.5%.

The worst performer of the day was PPL.TO, down by 1.31% or 59 cents to $44.31.

Today my Dividend Portfolio increased by $73.11 to $16,974.36.

Another great day on the market. I'm $25 short to reach a new milestone!

Freehold Royalties
The best performer of the day was FRU.TO, up by 1.47% or 39 cents to $26.98. The stock has done really well climbing to $27 level from $21 back in February 2014.

Liquor Stores

The worst performer of the day was LIQ.TO, down by 1.39% or 15 cents to $10.61.

Dividend Income Report - May 2014

For the month of May, I received a total of $87.52 in dividends vs $92.97 for the same month a year ago. My dividend income decreased by 5.8 % on year over year basis mainly due to dividend cut by LTS . My total Year-to-Date dividend income for 2014 is $433.00.

So far, I'm on track to meet my dividend income goal for 2014.
