Portfolio Value
In August, my portfolio value increased by $5,091 from 167,537 to $172,628. It was another great month with solid gains. The portfolio hit a new record by surpassing the 170K milestone. I did not add new funds to my portfolio this month. All gains are purely from stock appreciation.



Dividends
Dividends received in August 2024: $793.28
Dividends received in August 2023: $727.29
Year-Over-Year Dividend Growth: $65.99 or 9.07%
Year-To-Date Dividend Income: $6,143.82

The dividend growth is at 9.07% compared to the same period of last year. The growth rate is sustained by dividend reinvesting and dividend increases.

Transactions

Bought 45 shares of Telus (T.TO) for $21.67 per share

I picked up some more shares of Telus. I think Telus trades at a bargain and it’s a great opportunity to buy more in low-20. I will probably buy more shares in September.



Ads Revenue
In August, I collected $327.08 in adsense revenue from my YouTube channel. It was a slow month but it did slightly better compared to previous month.
