In October, my portfolio value decreased by $5,500 from $143,505 to $138,005. October was another month of big declines but not as bad as September. In November, my portfolio value should increase because the stocks have bounced back. Just in the past 4 trading days, the TSX Composite Index is up by a thousand points. Let’s see how November plays out.

The dividend growth is at 10% compared to the same period of last year. The growth rate is sustained by dividend reinvesting and dividend increases.

Bought 110 shares of Diversified Royalty (DIV.TO) for $2.49 per share
Bought 4 shares of Bank of Montreal (BMO.TO) for $111.10 per share
Couple of small purchases adding to my existing positions. These purchases were funded by dividends. No new funds were added to my account.
