In February, my portfolio value increased by $3,232 from 179,547 to $182,779. Most of the increase came from stocks appreciation. The markets were trading sideways in February. However, going into March, the markets will be volatile due to US tariff threats on Canada.

In January, my portfolio value increased by $914 from 178,633 to $179,547. January was a volatile month for the stock market amidst the presidential inauguration and the tariffs treats. Despite the volatile trades, my portfolio came up on top.

Happy New Year everyone! December is behind us and it’s time to report the monthly progress. In December, my portfolio value decreased by $7,351 from 185,984 to $178,633. This was my biggest monthly drop of 2024, with telcos leading the way as the biggest losers. But I’m not too worried about that. This is a temporary drop and a buying opportunity for long-term holders. I’m excited to see how the markets will fluctuate in 2025.
