In March, my portfolio value decreased by $4,206 from $154,919 to $150,713. I’m surprised to see such a steep decline, although the TSX has been on a recovery mode for the past two weeks.
Dividends
Dividends received in March 2023: $676.62
Dividends received in March 2022: $577.97
Year-Over-Year Dividend Growth: $98.65 or 17%
Year-To-Date Dividend Income: $2,018.23
March was another great month for passive income. The dividends are inching closer to a steady $700 a month. It’s a nice chunk of change. Consider our family grocery budget is covered.
Transactions
Bought 2 shares of CIBC (CM.TO) for $56.06 per share
Bought 8 shares of TC Energy (TRP.TO) for $50.76 per share
I just did two small purchases by reinvesting the dividends. I did not add new funds to my TFSA account. I still have a $3000 contribution room for this year. I want to get over with tax filings, pay my dues, and then decide how fast I want to contribute to my TFSA.
Ads Revenue
In March, I collected $371.90 in adsense revenue from my YouTube channel.
March 2023 YouTube Stats:
