Another month behind us and it’s time to report the May update. In May, my portfolio value decreased by $2,983 from $154,617 to $151,634. The market pulled back, but it looks like it’s on its way for recovery. Generally, the summer months are slow, but I’d be glad if my portfolio recovered some loses from May.



Dividends
Dividends received in May 2023: $692.29
Dividends received in May 2022: $605.76
Year-Over-Year Dividend Growth: $86.53 or 14%
Year-To-Date Dividend Income: $3,400.61

May was another great month for passive income. The dividends are inching closer to a steady $700 a month. I think I will cross that mark next month.

Bought 4 shares of TC Energy (TRP.TO) for $54.16 per share
Bought 28 shares of Smart REIT (SRU.UN.TO) for $25.67 per share
Bought 90 shares of Northwest Healthcare REIT (NWH.UN.TO) for $7.84 per share
Bought 13 shares of CIBC (CM.TO) for $56.38 per share
Bought 10 shares of BNS (BNS.TO) for $66.72 per share
Bought 25 shares of Telus (T.TO) for $27.02 per share

In May, I added quite a few stocks. I maxed out my TFSA account by contributing the remaining $3,000. So, I had enough money to purchase all the stocks above. And for the remaining of the year I will be reinvesting the dividends.

In May, I collected $343.60 in adsense revenue from my YouTube channel.
